While NDC changes can cause tracking problems in other drug databases, Gold Standard Drug Database uses a proprietary identifier to track product/package numbers.
Because the NDC is listed only as a product attribute, changes have no impact on data accuracy or your ability to use the file. Gold Standard Drug Database also links old and new NDCs, as well as NDCs and UPC codes to help you identify products.
